The Product Sales Manager AP ex-Japan for Process Chromatography (PCB) reports to the Sr. Director, Global Strategic Accounts - Process Chromatography.  This individual is responsible for continuously defining, implementing and developing commercial strategies for PCB products in the region, in line with the guidelines set forth by the Sr. Director. Responsible for business and sales growth for all PCB products. Lead and engage a team of approximately 8 account executives in China and India, as well as several distributors. Solve business problems through a consultative approach, develop sales plans and be responsible for delivering revenue commitments. Develop influential relationships with key stakeholders, including opinion leaders, new and legacy customers at all levels and invest in key strategic initiatives and build an optimal organization to ensure long term sustainable growth. Managing plan execution as well as leading by example, monitoring, training and coaching the PCD sales team in a way that best serves targeted growth for this region. Ensure compliance to SOX, financial audits and other relevant global and local rules and regulations. Ensure compliance with the Bio-Rad CRM system – SalesForce.com. We look for a motivated, career oriented candidate, focused on both pipeline- as well on revenue growth. This role is remote, you can live anywhere in China.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Ensures sales growth to quota performance, develops the pipeline for new opportunities & new projects, protects margin, completes forecasts, and manages operating expenses for the PCB AP ex-Japan sales team.  Manages 8 Account Executives in China and India as well as several distributors.
  • Select, train, coach, engage and develop the team 
  • Define, develop and implement commercial strategies in line with management guidelines
  • Develop and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders, opinion leaders and key customers.
  • Monitor and Forecast PCB business trends or changes, in compliance with Bio-Rad’s CRM system
  • Develop Sales strategies, presentations and proposals.
  • Resource essential data from the Account Executives to contribute creating a marketing strategy.

 

What You Bring:

 

  • Strong influence and negotiation skills, customer driven, with passion for results
  • Solid financial, analytical and operational skills and knowledge
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; reporting skills. Proficient with SFDC and SAP, accurate forecasting, ability to complete robust business analysis to support business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a sales team
  • Solid knowledge of Process Chromatography products and markets
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a life science or physical science discipline or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years’ sales experience, with at least 3 years management experience.
  • 3+ years’ Commercial operations experience (SFDC, digital commerce, channel management, strategy development, etc)
  • 3+ years Pharma industry experience.
